In the presence of a powerful compact source in a rich cluster of galaxies the Thomson scattering of its radiation on the intergalactic gas electrons produces a weak extended radio halo with luminosity 10-3 - 10-2 of the compact source luminosity. The compact source radiation being strongly beamed, weak prolongated jet-like structures might arise. These structures are of special interest in the case when beaming axes deviated strongly from the direction to the observer. Depending on the polarization of compact source radiation and orientation of its beaming axis the polarization of the diffuse source may vary from 0% up to 100%. These jet-like structures might arise in any spectral band depending on the spectrum of the compact source. Superluminal proper motions of jet-like structures are the natural consequence of this model.
