In this paper we discuss the relativistic effects of the change of photon energy, light-bending and time-delays acting on X-ray signal from black hole accretion discs. We examine power spectra of variability predicted for a source, assuming a model of a `spotted' accretion disc around a non-rotating black hole. Relativistic effects are described in terms of transfer functions. For the life-time and the intrinsic emissivity of individual spots we adopt description in terms of a simple stochastic process. We give approximate formulae and compare them with numerical computations.
