An experiment is described in which recent Palomar Schmidt plate observations are combined with astrographic catalog positions of one century ago, in order to derive relative proper motions for stars in the apparent visual-magnitude range from 9.0 to 11.5. Stars with tangential velocities greater than 0.06 arcsec/yr extend the list of stars detected with tangential velocities greater than 0.18 arcsec/yr.
