An electromagnetic compatibility analysis was done to determine the
potential interference to CONUS radio astronomy observatories operating
in the band 4.99-5.00 GHz, from the C-band DME (air-to-ground)
associated with the time reference scanning beam microwave landing
system, as a function of proposed MLS DME frequency assignment plans.
