Gravity Waves, Magnetohydrodynamic Turbulence, Thermosphere, Upper Atmosphere, Earth Atmosphere, Internal Waves, Radio Waves, Rocket Sounding
Scientific paper
Effects of turbulence generation connected with the destruction and
dissipation of internal gravity waves in the lower thermosphere are
estimated. These estimates agree well with results of rocket and
radio-meteor sounding at heights of about 90 km.
