Numerical simulations of the ejection of meteoritic material from the nucleus of proposed parent comets were compared with observations of the Quadrantid stream. The comets Stefan-Ohterma, Kozick-Peltier, and Pons-Brooks were selected as parent comets for the numerical simulations. Estimates of the ejection velocities were obtained, as well as estimates of the deviation of orbital elements of the simulated particles following ejection. The estimates of the deviation of orbital elements are given in a series of tables. The possible relationship between the origin of meteor swarms and the physical characteristics of comets is discussed.
