Ionization state calculations of WR atmospheres have been carried out which demonstrate that the simultaneous co-existence of He+ and He++ (and other) zones of ionization is possible only in a very narrow range of Teff: ΔTeff ≈ 2000K. This result is in contradiction with observations. The contradiction can be removed assuming a dishevelled structure of WR atmospheres consisting of dense "clouds" and low-density "intercloud" matter.
