A search model of the stable distribution of meteoric matter around earth is calculated on the basis of a theory of the distribution of matter in spatially limited gravitating systems with a nonpoint gravitating center constructed and verified by Gulak (1962-1981). According to the model, annular dust accumulations revolving around earth should be located at distances increasing by a constant amount a(0s) = 2153.5 km. An analysis of published data on the meteor experiment on the HEOS 2 satellite revealed this regularity with a(0) = 2155.5 km.
