12 astronomical positions of the Comet Meier (l978f) are given as obtained from photographic observations made at the ESO, La Silla, during the period 1979 April 21 to 30. Measurements and reductions were performed at Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, with the Ascorecord, Zeiss/Jena measuring machine (0.01 pt) of the Valongo Observatory, and by means of five reference stars (two independent methods: dependences and least squares) on the Burrough's 6700 computer of the Nucleo de Computação Fletrônica (UFRJ). The stars are taken in the SAO catalogue.
