An analysis of 356 available literature references was carried out to select 98 polyatomic neutral molecules, molecular ions, and radicals containing three, four, or five atoms of astrophysical significance. The table, in which these molecular entities are arranged according to molecular weight, contains such information as the spectral region, transition levels, and astrophysical objects where the respective molecules were detected, such as the particular comet, meteorite, planet, or star; the sun; interstellar matter; interstellar cloud; molecular cloud; or Galaxy. In addition, 75 new polyatomic molecules containing from three to five atoms of astrophysical significance are listed.
