We report the detection of polarized radio emission from the partial optical shells of the two supernova remnants G114.3+0.3 and G116.5+1.1. The existence of coinciding optical and polarized emission implies that these parts of the SNRs are further developed. Highly polarized radio emission is a measure of the homogeneity of the magnetic field. Therefore, in these regions the magnetic field should be more regular in comparison to the unpolarized parts of the shell, where turbulent magnetic fields are expected.
