11-year polarimetric observations of the symbiotic star UV Aur in the B,
V, R, I spectral bands are discussed. It is proposed that slow
variations of the polarization can be connected with an orbital motion.
The intrinsic polarization of UV Aur is similar to that of long-period
variables. The interstellar polarization toward UV Aur is estimated.
