Work on photometric observations of Pluto is described as well as efforts made to determine its physical parameters. It is noted that mutual occultation and transit events have been observed due to the alignment between Pluto and its satellite Charon. These events make it possible to determine their individual radii, densities, and surface compositions and to obtain information on their surface albedo distributions.
