During the test, a thermal balance of the service module (SVM) will also be performed. This paper is about the test facility that is under manufacturing at CSL for the Planck S/C Thermal and Cryogenic test. AMOS sa has the responsibility of the design, manufacturing and acceptance of the mechanical part of this project, under the responsibility of CSL. AMOS sa works in close collaboration with CSL for the dimensioning of the GSE linked to the tests of the Planck spacecraft. CSL has the contract directly from Alcatel Space for these tests. This work is done in the frame of the ESA Herschel / Planck project with Alcatel Space as prime contractor. Hereafter the various items that compose the Cryogenic Test Facility are briefly described.
