A pinch-model of primary energy release of solar and stellar flares is suggested. This model is based on the effect of transformation of floating magnetic field energy into kinetic and thermal energy in stellar plasma atmosphere. This mechanism is similar to the energy transformation process in pinch discharge. Numerical modeling of closed magnetic tube evolution in stellar plasma shows that as a result of its compression high-temperature dense plasma is formed, and becomes an impulsive source of X-ray radiation and energetic particle generation. It explains high energetic effectivity and temporal scale of magnetic energy transformation into thermal and kinetic plasma energy.
