The University of Wisconsin at Madison and River Falls, in conjunction with the Ice Cube experiment, is actively involved in astrophysics outreach work. This work has involved teaching the "Astronomy in the Ice" course at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. The purpose of this course is to introduce physics topics relevant to the IceCube experiment and its predecessor the Antarctic muon and neutrino detector array (AMANDA) to high school teachers. The high school teachers are then encouraged and aided in presenting the same material in their classroom. The course at River Falls is taught by graduate students from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and by faculty members from Madison and River Falls. The course is part of the UW - River Falls Masters in Science Education program. This work is supported by the K-Through-Infinity (KTI) program at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. A general overview of the program will be presented as well as future plans for involvement in high school classrooms.
