Scientific paper

The paper examines the problem of deriving Galactic-rotation parameters,
solar-motion parameters, and precession corrections on the basis of the
Oort-Lindblad and the Ogorodnikov-Milne models of the Galactic rotation.
It is shown that the proper motions of 512 FK4 stars do not confirm the
differential rotation of the Galaxy.
