The CIRS instrument is the Infrared spectrometer of the CASSINI orbiter.
The flight and spare models performances of the IR Photovoltaic detector
arrays are presented here. We discuss the efforts made to avoid 1/f
noise dependent diodes to meet the severe requirements of this mission
to Saturn.
