Since July 1995 the SARA 0.9-m telescope has been used on an irregular basis to observe continuum fluxes from a sample of eleven active galactic nuclei. CCD images of each object are obtained with wide-band V, R, and I filters (and occasionally a B filter). From these images the magnitude of each AGN may be determined by differential photometric techniques, provided that each CCD field contains comparison stars of known magnitude. Two to four suitable comparison stars have been selected for each field in this program; unfortunately, UBV magnitudes have been published for only three of these stars, and none have been observed in R or I. During the early summer of 1998 absolute photometric observations were obtained for the fields surrounding Mrk 335, NGC 5548, Mrk 817, 3C-390.3, and Mrk 509. We present preliminary V magnitudes and V-R and R-I color indices for comparison stars in these fields. This work is supported by National Science Foundation grant AST-9619939.
