Differential photoelectric photometry in V from seven different observatories is presented. No significant changes were seen in the V band coincident with the radio outburst. The mean light levels in 1978 and 1979 differ by only 0.0003 ± 0m.0003±0m.0016. Individual nights in 1979 fit the 1978 light curve within about ± 0m.01. From the reflection effect a more recent time of conjunction (cooler star in front) is derived: 2443639.52 ± 0d.05.
