Photometric observations of Pluto in the UBVRI system were carried out in May of 1988 with the 1-m telescope of the Institute for Astrophysics of the Tadzhik Academy of Sciences (Mt. Sanglok). A long-term decrease of the planet's brightness is confirmed. A monotonic decrease of the B-V color index is shown to have occurred during the last 30-40 years; this index was 0.82m in 1988. Changes in the U-B color index were more complex: the lowest value (0.20-0.23m) was observed in 1978-1982; in 1988 it was 0.34m. The polarization degree in white light was P = 0.26 +/- 0.02 percent at a solar phase angle of 0.82 arcmin and a rotation phase of 0.190.
