(8) Flora was observed during its perihelic opposition in 1984. From photoelectric observations a possible rotation period of 12.790 +/- 0.005 hours was derived, though other longer periods may also fit the data obtained. The linear portion of the phase curve was found to be described by V(1, a) = (6.673 +/- 0.032) +/- (0.028 +/- 0.001)a for phase angles, a, between 7 and 30 . Using the measured light curve amplitude of 0.07 +/- 0.005 magnitudes, together with results previously published, a longitude for one pole of 148 +/- 10 is deduced.
