Simulated and real images from Hubble Space Telescope's Wide Field/Planetary Camera (HST WF/PC) were processed by several image-restoration algorithms, and stellar photometry performed on the restored images. Results were used to evaluate photometric properties of the tested algorithms. It was found that reliable results can be obtained from such photometry, provided a combination of linear and nonlinear restoration techniques is used instead of a single restoration method.
