The method of differentiation of albedo variations and shape contribution to an asteroid light curve is proposed, proceeding from the assumption that the brightness distribution over an asteroid disk is the same as the one over lunar regolith. It is shown that average reflectivity variations over the visible side can reach 0m.17. Such a value of the photometric heterogeneity is typical for Mars and some satellite surfaces and it points out that asteroid surfaces are considerably more heterogeneous than it was assumed earlier. Calculated data permitting an estimate of the value of the surface albedo variations from the asteroid's light curve according to its amplitude and phase angle are given.
