Published photometric data on 54 supernovae of type I are analyzed using the classification scheme of Pskovskii (1978 and 1981), but modified to account for the difference between photographic and blue magnitude estimates. The data and spectrophotometric temperature estimates obtained on the basis of the classification are presented in graphs and tables and discussed, and some empirical temperature/color-index relations are derived.
