During the course of its mission, JMAPS will observe distant objects with effectively zero parallax to minimize astrometric errors across the sky. Some of these zero-parallax objects need to be defining sources of the ICRF2 to tie JMAPS observations to the radio reference frame. These sources must be both photometrically and astrometrically stable in the instrument's bandpass, which is very similar to Cousins I. Here we present the UBVRI photometry from two observing runs, one in the northern hemisphere, another in the southern hemisphere, executed in 2009. These results, combined with those of past and future observing epochs, will allow us to make a suitable catalog for observation on orbit, a preliminary exploration of which is also presented here.
