The photometric calibration of the Corot instrument, or of its individual components, can be divided in two distinct phases corresponding to slightly different objectives. Initially, ground-based calibrations were performed on ten candidate CCDs manufactured by E2V (42-80), in order to select the best fit for flight given the different specifications for each scientific program. Several CCD aspects where characterized in this process, some of which could only be properly investigated in ground, such as CCD sensitivities to temperature or to bias voltages. Complementarily, in-flight calibrations are due to be performed soon after the satellite launch (before the opening of the shutter), and periodically in some cases. That should enable the evaluation of a number of calibration parameters in in-orbit conditions, as well as the characterization of the orbital environment. The whole set of parameters evaluated in both calibration phases shall constitute a calibration database and will contribute to the configuration of the on-board software and the reduction of scientific data.
