Detailed photometric and geometric properties for nine E type galaxies are presented, based on CCD and large-scale photographic material in B light. All of the objects in the study are nearly isolated or belong to small and loose groups. The final light profiles cover a typical range of about 10 mag, with an overall accuracy of + or - 0.1 mag with surface brightness between 18.5 and 26 mag/arcsec sq. The results are compared to several other studies. Three of the galaxies studied (NGC 1172, NGC 1209, and NGC 1426) were found to mimic the photometric behavior of S0 bulges.
