Observational results of photoelectric measurements of the star CPD - 59.2855 deg (GG Car) to determine the U, B, V, R, and I magnitudes are reported and interpreted. The data were taken from Mt. John in New Zealand and Cerro Tololo in Chile in February and March, 1979, respectively. It was determined that GG Car consists of two stars with effective temperatures of 15,000 K and 4800 K, associated with a circumstellar envelope which emits radiation through electron bremsstrahlung. No definitive period could be defined for the objects, and the acquisition of data sufficient for gene rating a complete light curve is recommended.
