Results from a run of observations of the weak X-ray source 4 U 2129plus47, made in July 1980, are presented. The UBV photoelectric photometry confirms the periodicity of the source and shows the details of color variations due to variable heating of the outer layers of the optical star by the X-ray emitting object. The results suggest variability in the B magnitude at maximum and minimum light, perhaps related to the night-to-night variability at this magnitude at maximum light.
