A light variation in Johnson's V-band of flare star EV Lac has been registered by Pettersen (1980). The cycle length was 4.378d with amplitude about 0.07m. A Fourier analysis program has been applied to these measured data of the flare star BD + 55 deg 1823 in Johnson's V and B bands. A period of 16d and amplitude of 0.14m have been detected in the V-band.
