Between December 1980 and March 1984, photoelectric observations of SZ Lyn were made on 15 nights and were recorded 19 maxima times. Combining with those published, we now have a total of 139 times of maxima. Applying a second-order least squares reduction to this data, it is found that the period of SZ Syn is definitely increasing at a rate of 0.165 seconds per 100 years or (6.32 + or - 0.62) x 10 to the -12th d/period.
