Peter van de Kamp, astronomer, musician, and educator passed away
peacefully on May 18, 1995 at the age of 93. His life long work in
long-focus astrometry set a high standard for all astronomers. Peter van
de Kamp is survived by his daughter, Maria, his stepson Peter, and his
