Analytical expressions have been derived for the variations of the five orbital parameters, caused by aerodynamic drag over a nodal period of the satellite. The total density thermospheric model was used to study artificial satellite dynamics into the terrestrial atmosphere. The variations of the orbital elements are obtained in a very concentrated form. All three components of the perturbing acceleration as well as the rotation of the atmosphere have been taken into account.
