All infrared detectors display the memory of residual flux resulting from prior illumination of the pixels. In this poster we describe the effects of incident flux, reset mode, and hold times on this persistence using an engineering grade HAWAII-2RG detector. H2RG detectors will be used by all near-infrared instruments on the James Webb Space Telescope. Our conclusions are presented with respect to general JWST science goals.
