The MACHO data archive contains many thousands of periodic variable stars with very dense phase coverage acquired over four years of ~ nightly observations. We analyze each lightcurve to determine a phase delay time series and identify long term phase delay structure. A number of astrophysical processes, including orbital displacement and period evolution, can produce phase delay signals. We present here an outline of this technique and a number of interesting results found in the set of LMC Cepheid stars.
