Eclipsing binaries with short periods are an important source of our
knowledge about the evolution of close binary systems. New photoelectric
timings of minima of the five short period early-type eclipsing binaries
EG Cep, GK Cep, GO Cyg, V836 Cyg, and V1073 Cyg are presented here.
Their period changes and current light elements are discussed.
