An investigation has been made of the period changes in RR Lyrae variables in the globular cluster NGC 6934. The study was based on 211 plates taken between 1911 and 1978. A total of 50 RR Lyrae variables were studied. Of these, two have been changing period irregularly, six have been increasing in period, 11 have been decreasing, and 31 have been constant. The median rate of period increase is +0.03 day per million years and the median rate of period decrease is -0.08 day per million years. One star (variable 21) exhibits the Blazhko effect, and another star (variable 25) had an abrupt change of period after 1938. For each star the period change rates assuming uniform and abrupt period changes are, in general, different. However, the distributions of period change rates for all the stars for the two cases of uniform and abrupt change are similar. The theoretical implications of the pattern of period changes for both this cluster and others are also discussed.
