An infrared sensor calibration facility for the calibration and testing of large-aperture LWIR sensors and seekers and for other emerging technology requirements. The overall facility is described and the alignment method and alignment tools are examined. Problems which have arisen in early measurement work and the ways that they have been overcome are addressed. The first measurement results are reviewed.
