A general description of the module and performance data from the experiment sections is presented. Texus-1 is highly modulatized in both its mechanical and electrical equipment while also being highly redundant. Its use provided information for the design of Spacelab payloads. Functional performance during flight did not show relevant failures; results with halogen lamps, microgravity quality, and furnace temperature are discussed.
