Most of the former experiments conducted to determine the rigidity spectra of proton and alpha-particle fluxes of up to 20 GV are complicated by the smallness of the mean free path in the interaction of nuclei and by the presence of a residual atmosphere above the instruments. The data presented in the present paper, were obtained at heights between 200 and 300 km at an inclination of 65 degrees with an onboard telescope composed of Cerenkov and scintillation counters. The obtained rigidity spectrum of particles with Z greater than 2 and rigidities ranging from 1 to 16 GV is analyzed.
