SEEDLESS fruits have been obtained by Gustafson1 using cestrin and by Wong2 who used colchicine. Having confirmed3 the finding of Sass4 that ethyl mercury phosphate has hormonal and other effects similar to those of colchicine, I compared the effects of colchicine, acenaphthene and ethyl mercury phosphate in the form of `Ceresan'.
