The swing excitation or parametric resonance in dynamos is discussed. A simple example of the parametric resonance in a thin disk is considered by the use of Wiener integral methods. The additional growth rate of bisymmetric mode being controlled by the disk aspect ratio is shown to be relatively small and insufficient to explain the preferable generation of this mode in galaxies.
