The high precision of electronic detectors reveal parallactic motion more quickly and potentially more accurately than previously possible. Stars with distances of up to 500 pc have a greater total parallactic motion that the error of a single observation made with the Multichannel Astrometric Photometer (MAP). This paper presents several plots of the MAP's observational performance as functions of atmospheric conditions, sky brightness, Ronchi ruling frequency and clear to dark line ratio.
