The panel discussed three topics. First, we discussed the definition of a massive protostar, including the question of whether such a thing actually can exist. Second, can we establish an evolutionary sequence that ties observables to theoretical developments for massive stars? Third, we addressed the general problem that massive stars generally form in a clustered environment and the difficulties of separating star formation from cluster formation. Associated with that question was the related issue of nomenclature: what do we call a core and what do we mean by a clump? For each topic, each panel member gave a short answer and then we solicited comments from the audience. We have retained most of the discussion intact from the transcripts.
