After H2 molecules have cooled the gas in the interior of a primordial 'pancake' to T of about 200 K, nearly all the deuterium will become bound into HD molecules, which will dissipate additional heat until T drops to about 15 K. The power generated by the pancake in the HD rotational line at lambda = 112 microns could reach 10 to the 9th solar luminosities, sending a flux density of order of 10 to the -19th W/sq m to the earth.
