Binaries are important factors to be considered in the star formation history of our Galaxy. We developed a chemical evolution model with merger tree code based on extended Press-Schechter theory. We assumed the initial mass function peaked at 10 M&sun; derived from the previous work with the effect of binaries taken into consideration. The results are compared with the observations of metal-poor stars using the SAGA database.
