Results of 27 daytime and 10 nighttime rocket measurements of D-region electron density from the Volgograd station are compared with data of simultaneous ozone measurements from the SME satellite. A significant correlation is found between these parameters at heights of 52-60 km in the daytime and at a height of 80 km at night. The corresponding linear-regression equations are calculated.
