On March 30 and 31, 1981, the first successful observations of radial-velocity oscillations in the case of two prominences were made at a high-altitude solar station in Siberia. The two prominences were observed at a longitude of -75 deg W and a longitude of -18 deg W. The periods of the radial-velocity oscillations were 82.2 and 76.7 min, respectively. The measurements were carried out with the aid of a magnetograph equipped with a single photomultiplier. One tracing was obtained for each prominence. The velocity-oscillation tracings were processed on a computer.
