A high temperature absorption cell and Fourier transform spectrometer were used to measure the f-values of the A-X Phillips bands of the C2 molecules in comparisons with the Swan transition f-values. Interferometric fringes were also obtained of the solar C2 lines as references. The measurements were taken to determine the true oscillator strengths for abundance observations of stellar and interstellar sources. The Swan (0-0)/Phillips (1-0) ratio was near 1.48 and the Swan (0-0)/Phillips (0-0) ratio about 18.2, which implies a Phillips (1-0) value of approximately 0.0017 and a Phillips (0-0) value of 0.00138. The results indicate that downward revisions are necessary for previous estimates of the Phillips values.
